Two Gunmen Arrested at Pokemon World Championships


At the Pokemon World Championships in Boston two men were arrested after planning to start shooting attendees. They were both contestants and had travelled from Iowa carrying a shotgun, a rifle, a hunting knife and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. The men have been named as Kevin Norton (18) and James Stumbo (27). Luckily no one was hurt thanks to the events security staff and the police apprehending the men quickly.

The championship attracts hundreds of skilled players of both the card game and the video games who compete to decide who the world champion is, this year Shoma Honami (Japan) won in the Trading Card Game and Mark McQuillan (UK) won in the video game contest.
