5 Anime You Need To Watch, This Spring Season.

With the closing of the winter season of 2017 for anime, we go through the main anime of spring 2017 to get hyped for! Beware of possible spoilers for the anime that I will discuss, though nothing outside the synopsis given, if you want to go in blind maybe just take a look at the names.

#1 Attack on Titan Season 2cmb-jlgueaesm3u.jpg

The long awaited sequel to Attack on Titan will finally make an appearance this spring season. We are unsure whether season 2 will follow the same storyline as the manga, though from what we can see so far, we are confirmed to be getting the beast/ape titan. According to the official synopsis, “A horde of Titans is approaching Wall Rose and the battle for humanity continues!” Though we still don’t know if it’s going to adapt the original story or not, we can still expect some epic action, animation, and music for this season. The anime will air April 1st (hopefully this isn’t just a prank).

#2 My Hero Academia (Season 2)

Season 1 is definitely a must watch anime and I suspect this season will be no different. This anime will most likely offer us some of the best animation and shonen fights of the spring season. This anime has it all, from cool character designs to funny comedic moments to amazingly well-animated fights. If you are a fan of fast passed shonen fighting anime and have watched season 1, then this anime is for you. If you are fast passed shonen fighting anime and haven’t watched season 1, I strongly recommend you to watch season 1, you will not be disappointed.

By the same author as ‘Black Lagoon’, comes Re:CREATORS. this anime will ask the question; what if fairy tale characters had “intentions” of their own? This anime promises a new take on fantasy stories and beautifully animated action. We can also expect great music from this as the same music director for series such as Attack on Titan and Blue Exorcist, Hiroyuki Sawano will be taking care of this anime’s soundtrack. If you’re a fan of fantasy, action and mecha anime then this one is the anime of spring for you.

Next up is GRANBLUE FANTASY, this anime has already aired it’s first 2 episodes in January as a special sneak preview of the series, and many wereexcitedd to see the full anime. This anime takes place in a world where islands drift in the sky, our main character Gran is in search of his father who is waiting for in the fabled Island of Stars, his journey begins when he encounters Lyria and Alize, who he helps escape from the corrupt Erste Empire. This anime is perfect for anyone looking for an epic fantasy style story full of magic, dragons and outlandish creatures.

#5 Tsuki ga Kirei

If you are looking for your romance/slice of life anime, then this is the place to go. Tsuki ga Kirei will focus on Akane Mizuno and Kotarou Azumi, two third-year middle school students as they grow and connect to those around them such as teachers, classmates, parents and club-members. This anime will also focus on adolescent romance and dramas that happen due to the changes they face in their youthful days. If slice of life romance anime is your thing, then this anime will provide you with just that. Though it isn’t any genre dissecting anime like Kuzu no Honkai, it will offer you the typical high school boy-meets-girl story, which isn’t at all a bad thing so for all you romance loving anime fans, hop on.

Thank you guys for reading my most anticipated anime for next season. Please comment any anime that you are looking forward to that I haven’t talked about or that you feel should have made the list. 1. Attack on Titan! I’ve been waiting for this. I’m so glad that it’s finally happening. There have been so manu false alarms of s2 release dates from last year. So glad that it’s officially airing this spring.
