Microsoft has just announced their newest addition to the Xbox family, with the new Xbox One X. A bunch of new exciting features have been announced and they could pave the way for the next generation of gaming. Firstly announced was complete, full 4k resolution, accessible to every user, even giving a next generation look to users on a 1080p TV’s. Not only this, but what is really a stand out feature is the inclusion of backwards compatibility for all Xbox games, allowing people to enjoy their favourite Xbox classics all on one console, which will surely make many fans happy.
Microsoft claims this to be the most powerful console ever, and it’s hard to argue they’re wrong, with faster load times, 12GB of GDDR5 RAM (9GB available), and not only this, with a new liquid cooling system, it will be able to run smoothly and prevent unnecessary overheating, which can be very difficult to deal with, especially since some consoles are tough to get into. Strikingly, the console is also the “smallest xbox ever”, which has come as a massive surprise, but is definitely a pleasant one.
It appears Xbox One X is set to lead the way for the next generation of gaming, and I’m definitely very excited to see how the console does vs the seemingly weaker PS4 Pro. Not only this, but the console is set to be released with Forza Motorsport 7, which will most likely show off the XBONEX’s capabilities very well.
